Hi, My name is Melissa Vieira; based in Port Elizabeth & I have 18 years of experience in the  midwifery services. I am an advance midwife and NICU qualified nurse. I would love to assist you with your low-risk pregnancy. I work with numerous obstetricians, midwives and doula’s who form part of my support team.

Are you planning on having a home birth? Let me assist you in having the most professional home birth experience. I have 2 years experience in home birth and 18 years of experience in the private sector.

A water birth means at least part of your labor or delivery happen while you're in a birth pool filled with warm water. The use of a birthing pool during the first stage of labor might:
1. Help ease pain.
2. Keep you from needing anesthesia.
3. Shorten your labor
